Over time, certain imperfections appear on the skin. These are called internal ageing/chronoaging and are more evident in women and men with light phototypes (light skin color and skin that reddens easily and is difficult to tan) and in skins that are thin and normal/dry (our oily skins "suffer" with acne at a young age, but show greater resistance over time). In addition, the chronic and cumulative exposure to the sun (ultraviolet UV radiation) for professional reasons (working in the countryside, eg farmers) or leisure (various outdoor sports) adds to the above the photoaging which burdens our skin.

Peelings are aimed at people who notice the first signs of time or the sun on their skin.

These can be fine wrinkles, freckles and discolorations from the sun (skin spots), hyperkeratosis (hardening of the skin), dry and dull skin.

What results can I expect from a peeling?

The peelings will renew the outer layer of the skin (keratin layer of the skin) and will cosmetically/aesthetically improve the skin, which will feel more radiant, soft, fresh and healthy. There are also special peels aimed at patients with acne and in addition to the medication they receive, they offer seborrhea regulation (regulation of the skin's oiliness and its tendency to retain sebum), while other deeper peels offer the aesthetic improvement of scars left by difficult forms acne.

Finally, special peelings that offer whitening also help patients with melasma (spots that appear on the face after pregnancy, etc.) for the aesthetic improvement of their problem. Pilings are preferable to be done in the months when there is no intense sunshine (autumn to spring), while depending on the problem and the intended goal, 3-6 pilings will be needed per year.
Peels can also be combined with other antiaging applications that work in depth (botox, hyaluronic fillers for filling wrinkles) which offer impressive results by preventing the formation of expression wrinkles (botox) and filling wrinkles and gaps and correcting the geometry of the face (hyaluronic fillers).

THE EVOLUTION OF PEELS IS COMBINATION APPLICATIONS

Combined Application of Three Methods For Sebum Regulation, Combined Mechanical and Chemical Peeling and Facial Hydration

1) Cleaning the face with an ultrasonic spatula: With this treatment we help the skin to eliminate the excess sebum that is retained in oily skin with a tendency to acne. The treatment is painless and suitable for sensitive skin.

2) Peeling with microcrystals: A third generation system that uses advanced technology for a comfortable, comprehensive and hassle-free epidermal exfoliation. Exfoliation with microcrystals removes dead skin cells and helps healthy cells come to the surface, improving the appearance and quality of the skin. Ideal for treating acne and oiliness, antiaging, whitening, regeneration, stretch marks.

3) Light chemical peels: indicated for reducing the appearance of fine wrinkles and open, large pores of oily skin, while at the same time softening the color of freckles, brown spots and acne scars while renewing the skin.

4) The moisturizing mask: which completes the treatment, offers a deep hydration and guarantees that in the following days there will be no great irritation (you go to work comfortably), but only a gentle and controlled peeling

Depending on the case, the dermatologist can also suggest a dermatological maintenance treatment for the intervals between the therapeutic sessions-applications to enhance the good result.

A wart or wart is a harmless bump on the skin. It usually appears on the hands and feet, but mayServices to develop in other parts of the body. Common ants look a bit like cauliflower. However, they are highly contagious and to prevent their spread, you should treat them immediately and avoid direct skin contact with other ants. Often times, the ants will come back and this usually happens when you don't take these precautions.

This virus causes skin cells to multiply rapidly, resulting in benign growths that are more of a nuisance than dangerous, but which are highly contagious. There are over 70 different subtypes of HPV that cause warts. The different types of the virus usually cause hives in different parts of the body. The virus is spread by direct skin contact or by touching wet surfaces, such as pool floors and locker rooms, that have been infested by people who have ants.

ServicesChildren and teenagers are more likely to be infected, as they have not (yet) developed antibodies against the virus and are more often in contact with people who have hives.

Warts usually appear when there is a large break in the skin when the person is infected with HPV or in areas where the skin is exposed to excessive moisture, such as sweaty feet. A split in the skin can be caused by cuts or abrasions from shaving, onychophagia and ingrown toenails, chapped skin and eczema.

It is a treatment that offers youthful skin, ideal skin cleansing, deep rejuvenation and skin radiance. It achieves these with the mechanical detachment of dead cells (peeling) which offers softness to the skin, deep cleansing, hyperemia of the skin (improvement of blood circulation) and in the long term after repeated sessions the fibroblasts of the skin are activated for collagen-elastin production

With peeling the skin acquires

Softness and brightness, improved elasticity, a general revitalization that offers a velvety, radiant and pleasant look. The advantages of the treatment are that it is done without chemicals (therefore there is no possibility of any allergic skin reaction), it is relatively painless, it is done without injury, it does not require recovery time (staying at home), while it is done without restrictions due to season (it can still be done and summer).

For the best possible result, 4-5 sessions are required, which should be done every 20-30 days, depending on each case.
The duration of each treatment is 15-20 minutes

Peeling has one goal and that is to superficially renew the skin and eliminate additional problems such as blemishes, discolorations, small acne scars and fine wrinkles. It also offers deep cleansing, so in a skin where there is an overproduction of sebum, it gets rid of it significantly. We have different types of peeling. I recommend a combined treatment that has mechanical peeling, that is, microcrystals, which do a surface removal of the keratin and are little crystals that fall on the skin and do this to us. Chemical peels which are fruit acids that remove dead skin cells. And we combine this treatment with a hydrating mask which soothes the irritation from the previous treatments and also as the skin is cleansed and ready to receive hydration, it provides hydration."

Papillomas - What are they?

Papillomas are benign skin growths. Colloquially, they are also called "moles", but they have nothing to do with the "olives" of the skin (skin moles). They are small, round, with sessile or stalked appendages of the epidermis. Their surface is smooth or warty (like cauliflower). Papillomas are usually skin-colored but can be tan or even dark brown.

Papillomas – Etiology

Most people in both sexes have papillomas after the age of 25-30 with about 60% of people developing them by the age of 70. Because everyone's immune system is different, some people get infected more easily than others. The incubation time between skin contact and the appearance of the papilloma can be up to three months.
Papillomas are caused by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), the viruses that cause warts and warts. However, papillomas are not equally contagious. That is, they are not easily transmitted from person to person. Papillomas can multiply and spread in the same person after rubbing or trauma to the area. The main responsible HPV viruses that cause papillomas they are HPV 6 and HPV 11. These are essentially low-risk viruses.

Papillomas – Symptomatology

Papillomas are usually asymptomatic, i.e. they do not cause discomfort. They usually appear in warm and moist areas of the body, where the skin creates folds (on the face and especially on the eyelids, neck, armpits, inguinal folds, under the breast, etc.) and favors the growth of HPV viruses due to the increased skin friction with skin.
But often as they grow or multiply they can cause various discomforts. Discomfort also occurs in case of twisting of their stem, in which case inflammation is created which causes sensitivity. Some patients with papillomas report itching in the area and a burning sensation, especially in the summer months in conditions of intense sweating. Many times the papillae are injured and bleed causing worry to the patients. Scratching or rubbing (eg constant irritation from underwear-bra) can lead to inflammation of the papillae with swelling and pain.
Sometimes the papillae become very large and form the acrochordons or hanging terminus.

Papillomas can occur in practically everyone. But there are some predisposing factors and their appearance is favored in certain groups of people.

It has been observed that papillomas appear more commonly in people who are overweight or obese. Possibly due to increased sweating and creation of folds (which lead to increased skin-to-skin friction) in the skin that favor the growth of human papillomaviruses. In these cases, losing weight also reduces the appearance of new papillomas.

Papillomas often first appear or multiply during pregnancy and especially in the second half. They are found more often in the lateral cervical region (neck), in the armpits and under the chest. Both weight gain and hormonal factors probably play a role in this. Another cause may be the decline of the immune system during pregnancy. It is also common for pre-existing papillomas to increase in size during pregnancy for the same reasons. This should not worry pregnant women. It is good to treat papillomas after childbirth. In the event that papillomas appear in the breast area near the nipple, the laser treatment can be done immediately after delivery so that breastfeeding can follow safely. Many times there is an automatic subversion (recession) of the papillae after childbirth. In the event that this does not happen, we plan their removal, preferably with a laser.

Papillomas often occur in diabetics. In these cases, they should be treated immediately, as the risk of papilloma inflammation is greater in diabetics.

Trauma favors the spread of papillomas. Even mild injury such as scrubbing with a sponge while bathing, as well as with towels, multiplies the papillomas. The same applies to chains around the neck which, by friction, aggravate the problem of cervical papillomas. Even more, shaving the area affected by papillomas favors the transmission of the virus, as the razor carries the virus to new areas where it inoculates (enters the skin).

Papillomas are caused by the same group of viruses that cause warts and warts. Therefore papilloma and wart or wart often coexist in many patients.

There is no hereditary predisposition to the appearance of papillomas, as it is a condition caused by a skin virus. Nevertheless it seems that when a person suffers from papillomas and other people in his family probably display them.

The following measures prevent the appearance of papillomas

  • No scrubbing with a sponge or towels after bathing if papillomas are present
  • Avoid using chains and necklaces around the neck if there are papillomas in the cervical region
  • We avoid touching the papillae with our hands
  • Avoid shaving the affected area papillomas
We avoid using on healthy areas of the body razors and nail clippers that have been used on areas with papillomas
  • Weight reduction in case of obesity.
  • Immediate destruction and removal of papillomas with laser as soon as their existence is established.
  • Vaccination against HPV viruses with the multivalent vaccine reduces the risk of papillomas, as it protects against HPV 6,11,16,18.

By autologous we mean material from the organism itself. In practice, with a simple blood draw (like the one we do for a blood test), we take a small amount of blood. This blood is centrifuged and separated into red blood cells, plasma, platelets and white blood cells.

We utilize the part of plasma that is rich in platelets (PRP is plasma that contains more than 300-350,000 platelets/uL).

These platelets are activated with a special activator solution and release the growth factors they contain. The final product of PRP is the patient's own plasma enriched with their own growth factors, which we use as mesotherapy material.

PRP & applications

For skin reconstruction: Injecting the growth factors of PRP into the skin of the face causes the skin's fibroblasts to be stimulated to create new collagen and elastin. This has the effect of improving skin texture, tightening as well as improving the appearance of fine wrinkles. The nutrition and oxygenation of the skin is also improved as the PRP treatment improves the blood supply to the skin through the creation of new vessels (angiogenesis).

For skin hydration: The PRP method stimulates fibroblasts to produce hyaluronic acid, causing increased moisture and deep hydration of the skin. It gives glow to the skin.

For acne scar improvement: The regenerative properties of growth factors help heal acne scars, making the skin smoother and softening the appearance of the marks and "dimples" left by deep cystic acne. The results are even better in combination with autologous mesotherapy with fractional CO2 LASER or fractional RF (RadioFrequency). See corresponding section on the site

To improve skin discolorations: By injecting PRP, melanocytes are stimulated to produce melanin (the pigment that gives skin color) evenly.

To improve "stretch marks": The regenerative properties of PRP therapy are also useful in treating "stretch marks" on the body. The results are even better in combination with fractional CO2 LASER or fractional RF (RadioFrequency). See corresponding section on the site.

To improve androgenetic alopecia-hair loss: The growth factors of PRP therapy achieve a significant qualitative and quantitative improvement of scalp hair. See corresponding section on the site.

Which areas are treated?

On the face (forehead, crow's feet, cheeks, chin) on the neck, décolletage, abdomen, inner and outer thighs, knee, buttocks, dorsal surface of the hands as well as on the scalp. Practically it is done everywhere where we want to achieve a qualitative improvement of the skin or its parts (hair).

What are broadband?

Varicose veins of the skin are dilated capillaries, which when located in exposed areas of the skin such as face, legs, create an unsightly effect.

Where are the veins due?

Their appearance may be due to hereditary factors, hormonal predisposition, diseases of the vessel walls, solar radiation, injuries, increased venous pressure in the area and/or prolonged standing.

They appear more often on the face and thighs of women mainly during periods of hormonal disturbances such as during puberty, or pregnancy or menopause. In addition, they can appear on the cervix, sternum, shins, ankles and any other part of the body.

Vascular vessels have a diameter of 0.1 mm up to 1 mm and have a red (red) or blue (blue) color. It seems that more than 4 out of 10 adults suffer from varicose veins.

How does the laser remove varicose veins?

The laser emits a strong pulse of light, lasting a few milliseconds, which penetrates under the skin and is absorbed by the hemoglobin of the blood vessels we have chosen for treatment.

With the application of the treatment, the temperature of the vessel rises, intravascular blood circulation stops and then the vessel is destroyed and gradually absorbed by the body.

For each vessel, different parameters are required in the laser device depending on the depth, color and size of the vascular damage.

How long does the treatment last?

The duration of each session varies from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the surface of the treated area and the extent of the problem.

Where is the treatment done?

The treatment is done in the doctor's office and the patient can return to normal activities after the treatment.

What are the results and what should I watch out for after the laser application?

The results are permanent and the treated vessels never reappear. However, it is possible for new lesions to appear in other parts of the skin.

Regarding the treatment of varicose veins of the lower limbs with laser, standing for 2-3 days after the session, vigorous exercise and hot baths should be avoided. Walking improves blood circulation.

LASER TREATMENT OF VASCULAR INJURIES:

Cerasochroic Hemangiomas

Arachnoid hemangiomas

Vascular vessels
◦Lower extremities
◦Face

Rosacea Acne-Vessels
PWS hemangiomas

"The ND Yag laser is a vascular laser aimed exclusively at treating vascular lesions. This is how we can eliminate lesions such as varicose veins – the thin vessels found on the face and nose – cherry-colored hemangiomas – round red like olives that are found on the face or body – and mainly where it offers a very good result is in the vessels which are at the feet. The function of the laser is that it is absorbed by the endothelium, the inner wall of the vessel, and causes the walls of the vessel to stick together, to collapse, and the vessel visually disappears. Because a vessel that is visible is because it has vasodilatation, the walls of the vessel have overflowed and now more blood passes through it and that is why it becomes visible. The treatment can leave very small 'bumps' on the skin which require some regeneration time and is a treatment we would prefer to do in the winter months to avoid sun exposure to get the best possible regeneration from the skin. It is an easy treatment, relatively painless, very effective and even in difficult cases, one – at most two sessions are enough to eliminate the problem.”

What is onychomycosis?

Fungal infection of the nails is described under the general term onychomycosis. As for the responsible fungus, dermatophytes (Trichophyto Rubrum) and Candida species are most often identified. The condition mainly affects adults, however, the number of cases of onychomycosis in childhood seems to increase every year (especially in children with immunosuppression, diabetes mellitus or those who tend to put their fingers in their mouths). The toenails are most commonly affected, although in children younger than 7 years of age the fingernails are the ones with the highest rate of involvement. Onychomycosis must be treated immediately because otherwise it will spread affecting all the nails, but mainly because the affected nail is a gateway for microbes to enter the body which can cause serious problems such as erysipelas.

Do we need any laboratory tests before starting treatment?

Mycological control should in any case precede the treatment to avoid unnecessary administration of oral antifungal drugs. This is because there are dermatological diseases such as psoriasis, alopecia areata, eczema and congenital onychodystrophy with a clinical picture similar to onychomycosis, so a differential diagnosis must be made.

Classic onychomycosis treatments

Locally applied medicated nail varnishes (cyclopyroxolamine, amorolfine) are most often not sufficient because the fungus is also deep in the matrix and the nail bed, i.e. under the nail. To be able to get there, the drug (itraconazole, terbinafine, fluconazole) must be administered orally (pill or syrup) and indeed for a long period of 4-6 months (due to the slow rate of nail growth). The problem is that patients with liver or kidney disease may be significantly burdened by such a long-term treatment. Oral drug therapy is also not approved for the treatment of onychomycosis in children.

The evolution in the treatment of onychomycosis with the use of laser

Today we have the possibility to use a specialized laser for the treatment of onychomycosis and especially those caused by T. Rubrum. This is Q-Switched NdYAG 1064/532 nm which has very good penetration through the nail, so it treats the fungus that is under the nail without causing damage to the nail surface or the periungual (the skin around the nail ). It is a drug-free (non-toxic) treatment that can be applied to all skin types-colors. The treatment is painless and does not even require local anesthesia. It only takes 15-20 minutes and the patient resumes his activities immediately after. Usually 2-3 sessions are required which are done per month. After treatment we do not expect the nail to clear immediately (even if the fungus has been successfully treated). The treatment is considered successful when we see the new nail that is growing is healthy.

The result is achieved gradually, so there is no lack of relaxation in the area. Usually 3 sessions are required (with a maximum of 6 sessions) which take place every 6 weeks. The cost of each session is 80 euros.

For an even better result we suggest the above lipolysis treatment to combined with Strikecell surface mesotherapy which impart hydration, firming and radiance to the overall improvement of the skin's surface. Recommended scheme of 3 sessions, which take place per month. Cost of each treatment 50 euros.

But it's important to remember that just like liposuction, injections only treat fat. They will not heal excess skin, so the skin in the area must have enough elasticity to bounce back after the fat is dissolved.

Before undergoing deoxycholic acid treatments, the doctor must evaluate and determine if the problem is the fat deposition and that by removing it there will be no problem with skin laxity (patients who do not have good breaking, elasticity and recovery on their skin are not good candidates for the treatment).

"Today we have the possibility for an innovative treatment. This innovative treatment with the Qclear laser of the American company Lightage is a treatment that is certified by the FDA for the safety and effectiveness of the treatment. It is a solution which is easy, without taking drugs and without any pain for the patient. We can use the laser to pass under the nail where the fungus lives in the matrix of the nail, in the area where the new nail is produced and eliminate the fungus colonies. 2 to 3 sessions are required which take place over a period of one month and are also very effective. Of course, the result will take a while to be seen, because it takes 6 months to completely renew the fingernail and 12 for the toenail. But from the very first session we see a nail that grows strong and healthy."

Cellulite is a multifactorial problem. It, as well as the local thickness, usually appear on the thighs, buttocks, stomach and abdomen and are due on the one hand to poor blood circulation and on the other hand to the swelling of fat cells in the respective area. Therefore the problem is focused not only on the adipose tissue but also on the vasculature. In cellulite, there is a significant alteration of the blood vessels that supply the fat cells and a more general disturbance in the microcirculation of the area where the problem exists. Mesotherapy is the ideal solution to the problem as it acts directly on the fatty tissue with the aim of lipolysis and combating local fat and cellulite.

What is heterologous lipolysis mesotherapy?

Heterologous lipolysis mesotherapy does not require any anesthesia, it is painless, it is done without incisions in the skin. It consists of a series of injections which are made inside the accumulated local fat with the thinnest needle we have (an "insulin" syringe), while the solution we use contains lipid solvents such as phosphatidylcholine (lecithin), carnitine, organic silicon, which they liquefy fat. This is then removed naturally (via the lymphatic system).

Better results for lipolysis mesotherapy are achieved when we combine it with Autologous PRP Mesotherapy. It is also indicated for the fight against stretch marks.

What is PRP autologous mesotherapy?

By autologous we mean material from the organism itself. In practice, with a simple blood draw (like the one we do for a blood test), we take a small amount of blood. This blood is centrifuged and separated into red blood cells, plasma, platelets and white blood cells. We utilize the plasma itself and platelet growth factors from the patient's blood, the action of which is activated and enhanced with a special Cl solution2Approx.

This increases the lifespan of platelets and white blood cells, while stimulating the proliferation of skin cells. In this way, the action of the platelets is enhanced and thus they secrete more growth factors and for a longer period of time, while the skin cells multiply and renew.

Their growth factors act synergistically for skin regeneration and more specifically induce:

Angiogenesis (so we achieve better nutrition and oxygenation of the skin), proliferation of skin epithelial cells and differentiation (attraction and creation of new fibroblasts that produce extracellular substance: Collagen, elastin, etc.).

White blood cells deal with infections and secrete their own growth factors that complement and enhance the action of platelet growth factors. The nutrients of the plasma contribute to the nourishment, hydration and firmness of the skin and protect the cells from harmful factors.

Thus, autologous mesotherapy contributes to the good functioning of connective tissue and blood vessels, while heterologous lipolysis mesotherapy liquefies fat and removes it through circulation. The combination of the two methods helps in faster and better results as the removal of fat is greatly facilitated.

We suggest alternating these treatments to achieve the best result and eliminate fatty tissue from problem areas.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease which is inherited. It is not contagious from person to person (as is wrongly believed). It mainly appears on the elbows, knees and scalp, while it can also appear on any other part of the body.

It usually manifests itself in the form of erythematous plaques, which are covered by silvery scales and located in various parts of the body.

It mainly appears on the elbows, knees and scalp, while it can also appear on any other part of the body. The severity of the condition can vary greatly.

Psoriasis affects approximately 2-3% of the population and is as common in men as in women. It can appear at any age, but in most patients it appears in their twenties.

The highest frequency of occurrence is observed at the end of adolescence and around twenty, while the second highest frequency of occurrence of psoriasis is observed around fifty.

Today, the factors that aggravate psoriasis are known, with mental stress playing a major role. Also certain lifestyle habits are burdensome such as alcohol consumption, obesity and smoking. Specific drugs can also aggravate or even be considered suspicious for the manifestation of psoriasis, while the condition is disturbed and flares up with friction and in general mechanical abuse of the lesions

The duration of the disease can vary, but in most patients alternating periods of remissions and relapses continue for many years or throughout their lives

The treatments are divided into local (creams, lotions, shampoos) and systemic (pills), while now for difficult cases that do not respond to conventional treatments, we also have the most modern therapeutic means of injectable biological treatments

By receiving the appropriate treatment, depending on the current state of the disease, psoriasis patients can have a very good quality of life and learn to live well with the condition!
