A wart or wart is a harmless bump on the skin. Most warts appear in the summer due to increased contact during activities such as swimming and camping.
It usually appears on the hands and feet, but may also develop on other parts of the body. Common ants look a bit like cauliflower. However, they are highly contagious and to prevent their spread, you should treat them immediately and avoid direct skin contact with other ants. Often times, the ants will come back and this usually happens when you don't take these precautions.
Warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
This virus causes skin cells to multiply rapidly, resulting in benign growths that are more of a nuisance than dangerous, but which are highly contagious. There are over 70 different subtypes of HPV that cause warts. The different types of the virus usually cause hives in different parts of the body. The virus is spread by direct skin contact or by touching wet surfaces, such as pool floors and locker rooms, that have been infested by people who have ants.
Children and teenagers are more likely to be infected, as they have not (yet) developed antibodies against the virus and are more often in contact with people who have hives.
Warts usually appear when there is a large break in the skin when the person is infected with HPV or in areas where the skin is exposed to excessive moisture, such as sweaty feet. A split in the skin can be caused by cuts or abrasions from shaving, onychophagia and ingrown toenails, chapped skin and eczema.
TYPES OF ANTS
Common anthill
The common antsmoles are painless, benign lumps of skin made up of a hard core of skin. The common wart looks like a hard lump with an uneven surface that looks like a cauliflower. Warts can be round or irregularly shaped, flat or bulging and can reach the size of a pea. They can be white, gray or brown. Common warts usually develop around the nails, fingers and back of the palm, but may also appear on the knees and face, especially where the skin has been torn.
Tingling of the feet
Ants on the feet or soles of the feet are commonly called acrochords. Foot ants only appear on the soles of the feet, are very sensitive and can be identified by the way they interfere with normal skin tissue. Their surface is uneven, swollen, spongy, thick and/or scaly. Foot warts can be brown or gray (with a dark center), unsightly and often very painful if left untreated. Usually, they are larger than common warts and flatter, due to the pressure exerted on the sole of the foot when walking. Often, they develop under the most pressure points, such as the heels or the ball of the foot. If you look closely, you will notice small black dots inside the ant legs. It is not, as many believe, about the roots of the ant. Blackheads are caused by bleeding due to pressure on the ant when standing or walking.
Smooth juvenile ants
Smooth juvenile ants have a smooth, flat surface and are only a few millimeters in size. They look like a skin-colored or light brown bump. They tend to grow in large numbers, from 20 to 100 at a time. They can appear anywhere, but in children they usually appear on the face. In adults, they usually appear on the chin and cheeks in men, while in women they appear on the calves. Irritation caused by shaving may be responsible for this.
Flat hives are smooth hives with a flat or slightly raised surface that appear on the face or back of the hands
Filamentous ant
Filamentous warts are long thin bumps on the lips, eyelashes, face and neck.
Genital tingling
Genital warts appear around the anus and/or the genitals and look like a cauliflower sticking out of the skin. These ants are mostly found in adults and are transmitted through sexual contact
Scattered tingling
It is a group of small ants that form a cluster
How are ants treated?
Warts are contagious and may spread to other parts of the body or be transmitted to other people. For this reason, it is best to treat them immediately with treatment.
CO2 Surgical Laser Treatment:
Laser surgery uses a beam of intense light, which burns and destroys the ant tissue. A local or general anesthetic is often used. Laser surgery is used when the warts are large or scattered. Laser surgery usually causes scarring. The wound will cause pain for a few days after the operation only.
Most of the time, the treatment of ants on the skin is successful and they disappear forever. Usually, your body's immune system neutralizes the tiny pieces of ants that may remain after treatment.
"The surgical dioxide laser is essentially a laser scalpel that we see that we can treat papillomas that people refer to as olives, when they are not. They are growths of the skin which we can cut easily, painlessly and completely bloodless with the surgical laser, with the laser scalpel that we have. It is an easy, painless treatment, without the slightest bleeding for the patient. The only thing it leaves is a small "poop" which with the application of regenerating cream very quickly disappears and we have a new skin. It's a treatment we'd prefer to do in the winter months for even better results in terms of skin repair.”
