Η θεραπεία είναι κάτι τελείως διαφορετικό από την κλασική εφαρμογή της μποτουλινικής τοξίνης (η οποία γίνεται βαθιά στους μυς και εμποδίζει την σύσπαση των συγκεκριμένων μυικών ομάδων εμποδίζοντας κάποιες εκφράσεις οι οποίες δημιουργούν ρυτίδες). Εδώ η έγχυση χαμηλής δόσης τοξίνης γίνεται πολύ πιο ψηλά στο δικτυωτό και θηλώδες χόριο (στιβάδες του δέρματος) σε συνδυασμό με το μεσοθεραπευτικό υαλουρονικό που φιλοξενεί την τοξίνη.
